FAQ

VENUE INFORMATION

Unless otherwise indicated, shows at Valley Bar are General Admission and are not seated. On occasion, we have seated shows where you may buy a specific seat at the venue. This is indicated upon purchase (on a show-by-show basis) and seating is seldom guaranteed. Guests with special needs should call in advance to make arrangements.

Due to Arizona State Law, our all-ages shows must include a barrier between our underage guests and those who are 21+ (who have access to alcohol). Incidentally, this is why we request that our underage guests use the south entrance of the Music Hall (only open to underage guests on show nights) after receiving their wristband; rather than pass through the north Music Hall entrance or Rose Room. Underage guests must form a line outside the venue until doors open. There is no access to the restaurant area (Rose Room) and no re-entry for underage guests.

The Rose Room is usually open and free to the public as long as we are within capacity requirements (except when we have a full venue event that requires a cover charge). We encourage you to hang out for shows in the Rose Room, but if you have not purchased a ticket to the show, you may not go into the Music Hall.

All credit cards left behind with open tabs will be closed at the end of the night and a 20% service gratuity will be added. Valley Bar will hold your card for 2 weeks. Cards can be claimed from the Rose Room bar during normal business hours. You must bring your photo ID to claim your card. Staff is not permitted to give your card to anyone other than the card account holder.

Smart (reliable) footwear is strongly encouraged as this is a music venue which can become very busy. Proper traction for your feet and protection for your toes can be helpful. As expected, bottoms and tops are required. Otherwise, dress as you’d like! We encourage you to be you (as long as you are kind)!

Smoking is not allowed. Arizona has a smoking ban in enclosed workplaces. However, patrons over the age of 21 are allowed outside to smoke (20 feet from the entrance). Management and Security reserve the right to deny “vaping” as well. Please be courteous when it comes to smoking or vaping. Being discrete with your vape device can help ensure you do not have any problems in this regard.
