The Strings

The Strings blend a mix of folk, alternative and art rock to create an album that sounds new while conveying feelings familiar to many.

The Strings first formed in 2016 over their shared love of music as an artform. Ever since, the band has looked to explore new sounds and ways to keep their music feeling fresh while also using the form to delve into what it means to be human. From their first EP “An Abundance of Caution,” the Strings have always sought to create music that navigates the human condition to show the fullness of what it means to simply exist. The Strings believe that music is the best artform to provide the opportunity for people to reflect inwards and show that what they may be going through isn't their experience alone and is instead shared throughout communities and time. At a time when artificial intelligence continues to creep into our creative lives and threatens to erode the fibers of personal connection, The Strings hope their album "Watercolor Moon" and the rest of the music catalogue can provide a safe harbor for people seeking art that preserves the sanctity of shared human experience."
