Color Wheel—an indie rock band emerging from Mesa, AZ, is composed of friends Paul Giarrizzo, Zorin McGuire, and NZ Mackenzie. Morphia Slow is a songwriter who embodies the influence of the desert. Her songs conflate unrequited love with sadomasochism, find identity in the crevices of mountains, and reveal the tender capabilities of an unreliable narrator. She is joined by Jacob Pettinato, Joshua Eells and Vance Mcgrady.
