Nuovo Testamento

The Los Angeles-based trio, Nuovo Testamento, is lighting up the dance floor with their uniquely dark italo disco-flavored pop hits. Following the release of the coldwave cult favorite Exposure EP in 2019 on Avant! Records, their acclaimed full length, New Earth, exploded onto the scene with its graceful touch of 1980s-influenced club elements, contagious rhythms and the powerful punch of synthpop. The release was widely considered across genres to be one of 2021’s best underground albums. With the release of their highly anticipated second LP in early 2023, Love Lines, Nuovo Testamento continued to explore the light, the dark and exultant personal power in what will undoubtedly become an instant dance classic. Following a celebrated remix for Scowl and full North American tours supporting the Soft Moon and Molchat Doma, Nuovo Testamento is on tour in the US and Europe throughout 2024.

SRSQ

SRSQ (pronounced seer-skew) is the moniker of singer, musician, and elemental force Kennedy Ashlyn. From foundational years as co-founder of visionary shoegaze duo Them Are Us Too (alongside the late, lamented Cash Askew) through her growing body of solo work on Dais Records, she has steadily honed her multi-octave range and moodswing songcraft into an increasingly potent poetic voice. 2019’s celebrated debut, Unreality, showcased a deepening gift for melodic dynamics and emotive exorcism – a mode she half-seriously coined “griefwave.” The album’s passionate response prompted extensive live dates, further sharpening her natural performative instincts.

Her second album Ever Crashing further confirms Kennedy as an essential generational talent, able to synthesize private struggles and sorrows into stirring, redemptive anthems. Hers is a music of tumult and triumph, darkest night breaking into brightest dawn, where anguish blurs and becomes acceptance.
