Denko is an Arizona local band that morphs math rock, progressive metal, and hardcore, into an often jarring, beautiful, single sound. With inspiration from groups like Chon, Animals as Leaders, Delta Sleep, and more, the sound of Denko drives listeners to cry, fight, dance, and cry again. Their music is sure to have you checking your pants when it’s all over with.
Skin Theory is a progressive rock group from Tucson, Arizona. The quintet balances two drummers, synthesizers, horns, and guitars with most members pulling instrumental double duty. Marring avant-garde maximalism with DIY spirit, Skin Theory creates rock music that is as intricate as it is raw. They also really like cheese and rocket ships.
Pinup started as a trio making music in a closet but eventually formed into a five piece after two years. With Manny on vocals and guitar, Nadia on vocals, Jax on the bass, l Payton on the drums, and Vyncent on the lead guitar, the band all carry their own influences such as Chevelle, Tool, Radiohead, and Pink Floyd. Currently, Pinup is working on releasing their debut album and couldn’t be more excited to share their music. As an AZ genre melting pot, Pinup has songs that range from indie pop and shoegaze to metal, allowing their audience to enjoy their diverse sets. Pinup has been incredibly grateful for their audience and will be planning more shows to catch in upcoming months.
Analog Monsters is the creative outlet project for Phillip Holton. After composing songs of various musical palates and ensembles, Phillip assembles a team of musicians for each live performance to curate a truthful recreation of the songs in a performative setting. Every person who attends an Analog Monsters set should expect to hear a wide swath of genres and energy levels, and lots of dancing.
