CLIFFDIVER

Following a freak accident tumed near-death experience, sophomore album release, multiple cross-country tours, and lineup shift, CLIFFDIVER are more than ready to take whatever the world has to throw at them. Hailing from Tulsa, OK, the 5-piece have carved a space all their own in the midwest/DIY emo scene. Balancing cheeky references to the pop culture pieces that raised them with a hefty dose of introspection and self-development, CLIFFDIVER never fear laying it all out there, and then some.

With refreshing yet honest takes detailing their journeys with sobriety, mental health, relationships, and self-esteem, it's no surprise that CLIFFDIVER and their music have become synonymous with a feeling of catharsis for the community that rallies around them.

Debuting in 2018, the band found success with the anthemic "Lost In IKEA," followed by a much needed beacon of mid-pandemic positivity brought by "Gas City" in 2020. CLIFFDIVER released their first full-length album, Exercise Your Demons, via SideOneDummy Records in 2022. amassing over 3.3M+ streams since its release.
Receiving acclaim from outlets like SPIN IMPACT and The HARD Times, the foundation for 2024's birdwatching was set. Released in September of that year, birdwatching finds CLIFFDIVER having accepted themselves, faults and all, as they pave a path forward into a healthier and brighter — though not always easier — future as individuals and as a unit.
The sophomore release has reached outlets local and international, landing the band placements in Tulsa's News on 6 and scene staple PUNKNEWS.ORG. Caliber TV praised the release, noting that birdwatching "continues to give us what they're excellent at, as well as exploring new territory and places to go within the genre.* Flood Magazine echoed the sentiment, stating that CLIFFDIVER's "ability for combining the ridiculous and sublimely moving is stronger than ever.* The Honey Pop praised the band's high-energy live performances during the album's touring cycle, sharing excitement for the next era.
*Everybody needs someone to tell them that everything is going to be okay, and CLIFFDIVER are that someone. The band are all in and there for you, if you'll have them." - New Noise Magazine
