Scar Crush is the project of Kamdon Block, explored with old friends and new collaborators to create the band that it is today.
Inspired by the spirit of outlaw country, 90s and early 2000s indie and contemporary folk-rock, Scar Crush makes songs that sound brand new but evoke memories of the past. Forlorn vocals sit atop a twangy collection of stringed instruments and walking basslines; a noisy combination that just might compel you to dance with a stranger, or take a trip back down that 'ole gravel road.
