Raquel Denis is the folk project of singer-songwriter and poet Raquel Ileana Denis. Her heart-centered folk songs vary in form ranging from meditative ambient improvisations to visceral vocal performances. Through simple but potent guitar and vocal arrangements, Raquel offers Intimate reflections on grief, worth, forgiveness, defiance and familial love. Her debut album, Matrilineal, is slated for release on January 26th, 2024.
