Hotel Pink is a bedroom psych solo recording project helmed by Ray Imran. Nearly every note in the studio recordings are written and performed in solitude, and the live experience is brought to fruition with the help of Aidan Ranieri on guitar, Chris Gonzales on bass, and Max Mulmed on drums. The sound is defined by introspective lyricism, warbly, spaced out guitars and keys, tight and melodic bass grooves, and playful drum beats with an emphasis on neo-psychedelia, produced by means of using the studio as an instrument and a tool to concretize music out of one’s mind.
