The “Women in Jazz” concert is entirely composed, written by, and arranged by contemporary women in the jazz world. With a background that includes fusion jazz, salsa, instrumental pop and women’s rock, Claudia is now is bringing her wide-ranging knowledge of music styles to the world of instrumental jazz.

A musician of many influences, from Ellen Andrea Wang to Cecil Mclorin Salvant and Snarky Puppy the music that is called jazz is changing as a result of influences from all over the globe. Claudia’s repertoire reflects and interprets all of these musical streams.

The “Women in Jazz” concert is entirely composed, written by, and arranged by contemporary women in the jazz world. With a background that includes fusion jazz, salsa, instrumental pop and women’s rock, Claudia is now is bringing her wide-ranging knowledge of music styles to the world of instrumental jazz.

In collaboration with saxophonist Mary Petrich, Claudia was recently awarded an Arizona Commission on the Arts research and development grant to present Women in Jazz to the Phoenix jazz community.
