“A superb reinvention of the genre's power and musicality”
-Lydia Hillenburg, Vents Magazine
"A genuine force to be reckoned with”
- Shannon Cowden, Indie Music Reviews
"Few debuts are ever this realized-Mason doesn't sound like they are on the first album but rather their third"
-Jason Hillenburg, Skope Magazine
Since their formation in January of 2013, the band released their self-titled EP, produced and recorded by Bob Hoag at Flying Blanket Recording, last October to rave reviews, with the Phoenix New Times calling its lead single "Like Like" "[one of ] the best things we saw, ate, and heard in 2013."
The band has also toured extensively behind this release, with gigs including opening slots for acclaimed indie rock acts PYYRAMIDS, The Love Me Nots and The Burning of Rome, appearances at the Phochella and Sidepony Music festivals, and numerous appearances on such local radio stations as KUKQ Phoenix and 93.9 KWSS.
Having just signed onto Phoenix-based label 80/20 Records, Fairy Bones is currently working on writing and recording their debut full-length album Dramabot, which will again be produced by Bob Hoag. The band also plans on touring extensively across the Southwest throughout 2014, as well as preparing a multi-media promotional campaign for Dramabot that will help continue to build on the rapid momentum they've achieved in the past year.
"If No Doubt hadn't started out as big fans of Madness, they might have sounded like Fairy Bones by the time they got to Tragic Kingdom." - Dan Moore, Phoenix New Times
"In a world where there's little original material left in music, The Fairy Bones EP restores faith that music can still be a beautiful, powerful and ultimately incredible thing." - Punk Nation
"One of my favorite debut bands of 2013 is, without a doubt, Fairy Bones. Chelsey Louise is a goddamned firecracker on stage and the band supports her histrionics and indulgences with smiles, grins and a furious garage groove. " - Mitchell Hillman, Sounds Around Town
"They're like this adorable family of miscreat elves (or, excuse me, fairies). And they will rock the roof off the house every single time... even if they're tired, or sick, or it's their second show of the night, or all three at once." - Frank Ippolito, YabYum Music and Arts
The Sara Robinson Band drives their own brand of Blues Rock & Roll that has been captivating audiences with every live show. Based out of Tempe, Arizona this four piece draws influences from 60′s-70′s Rock & Roll, Blues, Soul & Funk and layers them with strong hooks and big choruses.
